If you don’t see this, chances are that serial validation had gone awry and it’s the root of some problems you might encounter. The very first thing you see is actually a huge splash screen. So you can actually have an MD-80 that started life from the factory as an MD-81 was upgraded to MD-82/83 status then got the EFIS upgrade and thus looks like an MD-88.
